This section of the project will cover the construction/upgrade of the public right of way through the Shadsworth Woodland Area between Arran Avenue, Dutton Way and School Lane, Blackburn. And will encompass the following works: * Footway improvement/construction and re-surfacing to form a shared cycle/pedestrian route * Removal of existing metal footbridges * Construction of piped culverts in locations where footbridges are removed * Installation of ducting and chambers * Installation of Street Lighting and associated equipment * Liaison with stakeholders and the public * Disposal of any materials removed as part of the works if they cannot be reused on site
