Vehicle Locksmith Services
Notice Description
Currently, the Metropolitan Police Services (MPS) has two internally operated car pounds that are used to store seized and crime related vehicles. MPS Vehicle Recovery and Examination Services (VRES) manage these sites on a daily basis. Both sites are operated 24/7, 365 days a year and are the forefront of major policing operations. Vehicles that will require unlocking are mainly vehicles that have been involved in crime and require forensic examination along with a smaller percentage of vehicles, which have been seized by the MPS. The MPS have three Lots available: 1. Lot 1 - Perivale Pound and offsite within the MPS area 2. Lot 2 - Charlton Pound and offsite within the MPS area 3. Lot 3 - Perivale & Charlton Pound and offsite within the MPS area MPS Area divided into 2 areas; the following boroughs support 1. Perivale Pound (Lot 1) - Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Enfield, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Haringey Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton, Wandsworth, Westminster. 2. Charlton Pound (Lot 2) - Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest. Proposed contract term: 1st June 2020 - 1st June 2022 +1 year (2+1 years).
