CPU 3996/3997 Occupational Health & Employee Assistance Programme - Mansfield/Ashfield
Notice Description
Mansfield District Council are seeking to enter into an agreement for the provision of a comprehensive range of occupational health services for approximately 1100 employees across Mansfield District Council and Ashfield District Council. Include but not limited to; * Job specific pre-employment screening * Management referrals * OH assessments * Case managements * Health surveillance * Fitness for work screening / certification * Provision of physiotherapy * Option of provision of Employee Assistance Programme as part of overall contract Further provision information detailed in attached document. 1.1 Average number of referrals vary but over a 3 month period, prior to COVID-19 when services were operating under normal circumstances 157 referrals were made to occupational health for a variety of reasons. During this period 61.7% of all referrals/clinics were due to Health Surveillance reasons where there are some peaks and troughs. Remaining referrals/clinics over this period of time were for; * Occupational Health Physician appointment * Occupational Health nurse appointments * Physio assessments and appointments * Work station assessments * Pre-employment screening and where necessary assessments * Wellbeing Clinics 1.2 Over a 9 month period 86 management's referrals were submitted to occupational health requiring triaging, assessment and management reports and advice. 1.3 Is expected appointment turnaround from point of referral being received appointment is allocated within 10 working days. 1.4 The arrangement will be for a period of 2 years, commencing 1st December 2021, with an option, by mutual agreement to extend for up to an additional 1 or 2 years
