CQC is the regulator for health and social care in England. Arising from CQC's emergent strategy for 2021-2025 there is a renewed focus on upskilling colleagues who work in all engagement roles (with a particular emphasis on those engaging with public, provider, internal and stakeholder audiences) with: * a shared understanding about a strategic planning approach to all communication * developing a consistent approach to writing and implementing communications and engagement strategies The OASIS (Objective, Audience Insight, Strategy, Implementation and Scoring) framework is the industry standard for government communication. CQC is a member of the Government Communication Service (GCS) and wishes to harmonise the approach taken by its engagement professionals to strategic communication by systematic use of the principles contained within a framework such as OASIS.
