Notice Title

Lone Working Devices

Notice Description

The TRUST is looking for one provider to provide a lone working system for its staff. Trust staff who work alone (including clinical staff visiting patients off-site) are vulnerable to incidents of violence and aggression. Therefore, the provision of specialist lone working alarm systems would significantly improve security and the safety for Trust staff who work alone (both off-site and on-site), by giving them access to immediate 24 hour assistance. The Trust requires a reliable system and simple lone working device for use to protect staff who work alone. A lone working device would need to be linked to a monitoring station (manned 24/7) where an operator and the member of staff can communicate. The operator can see the member of staff's profile, emergency escalation plan and location on Google Maps, so they can call the police, line manager or road side recovery. Also, the system must have a fast link to the police and all conversations are recorded so they can be used as evidence, if required.
