Notice Description

Please disregard any content in this notice that requests your organisation "to apply direct to the buyer" as this is unfortunately a system generated error that is outside of the Contracting Authority's control. THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS TENDER IS 20TH FEBRUARY 2018 AT 14:00. This tender is to procure two multi-beam echosounder (MBES) sonar systems (1 primary and 1 spare) for use primarily on NERC's new 2000m depth rated AUV platform Autosub2KUI which will begin engineering trials in 2019. Further details of the existing Autosub6000 and Autosub3 AUVs can be found at http://noc.ac.uk/facilities/marine-autonomous-robotic-systems/autosubs. The full technical specification can be viewed as an attachment in the Emptoris e-sourcing portal. Additional information: Please disregard any content in this notice that requests your organisation "to apply directly to the buyer" as this unfortunately a system generated error, that is outside of the Contracting Authorities control. UK Shared Business Services eSourcing As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Services e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite. If Bidders have not yet registered on the portal this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the 'Supplier e-Sourcing Registration'. Please note that to register Bidders must have a valid DUNS number for the organisation which you are registering. Full instructions for registration and use of the system can be found at: http://ccs.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/i-am-supplier/respondtender. Once you have registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. If you have not done this already please follow the guidance: This is done by emailing ExpressionOfInterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. Once this has been completed, when you log into the CSS website, please follow the attached guidance notes which will show you how to find the tenders.
