Provision of technology & innovative solutions within nursing homes in Staffordshire
Notice Description
Staffordshire County Council(SCC) is looking to the future. SCC are considering the build and refurbishment of nursing homes within Staffordshire and want to ensure that the properties are smart homes maximising technology and equipment. SCC is looking for forward thinking innovation companies/providers who would like to work with the Council to showcase their technology in these potential new builds and additions in a current site. SCC is considering the opportunity to work with providers who are innovators of technology in the area of care within a nursing home. SCC is exploring the use of technology and innovation in providing care within a nursing home which can increase the quality of Residents lives and be cost effective in the delivery of care. SCC wants to provide an opportunity for forward-thinking technology specialists to develop a state-of-the art care home build. There may be the opportunity to provide a platform for new technology and innovation. The aim for these sites is to pioneer technology in care to provide a unique solution in delivering care considering: * Technology to support an individual * Artificial Intelligence Care Delivery * Automated cleaning of facilities * Technology to support staffing levels * Technology to support medicine management * Technology to monitor care needs * Tele-assistive Technology The Council are keen to hear from companies who believe they have the capability to provide innovative solutions to influence the way in which future care is delivered and managed. The Council is looking to hold an initial Engagement Event on Friday 6th September at 13:30 at The Oak Room. County Buildings, 15 Martin St, Stafford ST16 2LE where further information regarding this opportunity can be gained and an opportunity for questions and answers. To register your interest email claire.ackley@staffordshire.gov.uk numbers will be limited to 2 people per organisation. Please confirm the name, role and contact details of attendees. It would be helpful if you would provide some brief company background information prior to the event. Providers can submit a brief company/organisation outline of no more than 2 (two) sides of A4 and in addition also provide any examples/case studies where this type of service is already being delivered - with specific reference to innovation around delivery, staffing and quality of care.
