Development of Catch rules for the sustainable exploitation of data-limited fish stocks to inform fisheries management advice and FMPs. In particular provide support to deliverables of the project, including: 1. development of R-Tools for application of data-limited catch rules for Cefas and external use, which could be integrated into ICES' TAF framework [End date: 15 Feb 2025] 2. literature review and testing of catch rules applicable to stocks for which only catch/landings data and some life-history information is available [End date: 15 Feb 2025] 3. methodological development of the framework for testing catch rules for very fast-growing stocks (and including short-lived such as small pelagics) [End date: 15 Feb 2025] 4. development of operating models to test catch rules that use alternative sources of data (e.g., spatial metrics and GES indicators) [End date: 15 Feb 2025] 5. contributions to ICES WKLIFE [1-2 meetings per year for 2023-2025].
