Notice Description

West Sussex County Council are looking for service providers to participate and have input into an initial market consultation exercise, the outcome of these discussions will enable the Council to incorporate the information into our requirements for the contract. The event will take place on Wednesday the 29th of March 2017 at Billingshurst Community and Conference Centre and will include an initial 'catch all' event followed by individual 1:1 sessions with providers. To participate in this event please express an interest in this project and send a message via the correspondence facility on the portal no later than 17:00 hours on Friday the 10th of March 2017. It is imperative that providers attend both the morning session and the individual 1:1 and therefore individual sessions will be notified on the day. The team very much look forward to meeting with you at the event. Scope for the work Specialist health services for adults with learning disabilities in West Sussex, including the provision of: o Nursing o Speech and Language Therapy o Psychology and Specialist Behaviour Practitioners o Psychiatry o Occupational Therapy o Physiotherapy o Health facilitation and acute hospital liaison o Associated management and administrative support o Working in partnership with social care professionals within an integrated Community Learning Disability Team context o Working in partnership with local NHS and other statutory and non-statutory partners o Working across adults and children's services to deliver a Life Pathway approach o Providing services to people who are the commissioning responsibility of West Sussex and people living in West Sussex who are the commissioning responsibility of other areas The configuration of services, how they will be delivered and the outcomes they will be monitored and evaluated against have yet to be confirmed and therefore the Council is seeking to obtain the views of providers on the opportunities for the delivery of innovative services to obtain the best outcomes for customers.
