Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has initiated the planning stage for a public procurement process titled "Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Exposition - RFI." This tender pertains to the industry category involving security, fire-fighting, police, and defence equipment, with additional focus on command and control systems, intelligence and surveillance, and electronic warfare systems. It will be held on 16th July 2025 at Baker Barracks, Thorney Island, Emsworth, PO10 8DH. Interested companies must submit their responses by 21st March 2025 to engage in this significant market engagement event.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in security and defence technologies, particularly those providing solutions for detection, situational awareness, command and control systems, jamming, and novel approaches to counter UAS threats. Companies capable of showcasing innovative equipment and expertise relevant to these areas will find this exposition a crucial platform for demonstrating their capabilities to key MoD and Home Office stakeholders. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focused on these technological domains are highly encouraged to participate, potentially leading to long-term collaborative opportunities with the MoD.
