Notice Description

ERDF-CNC/IISE/23/10 The University's Institute for Innovation and Sustainable Engineering are looking to purchase an easy to use CNC Lathe, with manual controls, so the machine can be used on "one off", prototype parts and small batch work. Simple programming format (conversational type) on the machine control so toolpaths can be generated on the lathe to produce precision turned components. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This is an ERDF Procurement. ERDF Funding The purchase of goods, works and services in ESIF projects is subject to rigorous audits to confirm that the selection processes comply with (i) Public Procurement Law, (ii) the Treaty Principles or (iii) National Rules as appropriate.
