Notice Description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) working for and on behalf of NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCGs) wish to engage with potential providers through a Request for Information (RFI) process in relation to Respite Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The objectives of this RFI is for the CCGs to explore options that are in operation and to consider the various service models and what the outcomes are for the people who use them. This RFI seeks information from providers about the service model and how the service(s) are commissioned, successes and benefits of respite services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The CCGs are working in collaboration with strategic partners to review the current health service provision that is available for adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in the Teesside area presently with a view to ensuring that services available in the future are able to meet the current and projected demand and are appropriate to the needs of the people who use them. Information gathered as part of this RFI exercise will be considered, alongside feedback from a diverse range of people with experiences of using respite services, their families and Carers, to develop proposals for how responsive and appropriate services could be delivered in the future. Provider expertise in delivering respite services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs is valuable and can support to inform any future developments for services in the Teesside area.
