Notice Description

The Borough Council of Calderdale invites you to submit a Quotation for the Parent Liaison Service. The successful Bidder (the'' Provider'') will deliver a specialised support service in Calderdale for parents and carers of children who are subject to child exploitation (SCE) and child criminal exploitation (CE). The Provider will: - Provide an independent Parent Liaison Officer (PLO) to support parents and carers and build relationships between statutory agencies and families. - Include accredited training and awareness for professionals, parents, carers and community organisations. - Provide the service in line with the Relational Safeguarding Model approach to Child Exploitation, seeking to engage parents and family members in protecting a child at risk of being exploited. The Contract will be awarded for a period of one year with an anticipated start date of the 1st April 2023. The contract will be extendable by up to one further year in two six-month instalments.
