The Commissioning Organisation(s) for this service were: - NHS Redditch & Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group, - NHS South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, - NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group, And shall be referred to henceforth as "The CCGs." The CCGs were seeking to procure a Falls Response Service for patients across Worcestershire. Falls response services aim to reduce the demand on hospitals, ambulance services and mitigate the potential negative health outcomes associated with hospital admissions for older people following a fall. This is provided through fast access to trained staff that respond to individuals who have had a non-injurious fall and who are able to be managed within their home environment thus keeping older people independent for longer. The CCGs have awarded one contact. The contract term is for 1 year, plus an optional extension of a further 1 year.
