Notice Description

The Safer Tracheostomy care programme was one of the priority programmes delivered across NHS Hospitals in England via the PSCs over 2019-20 and 2020-21 as a COVID-19 priority NHS England now wants to evaluate this programme to understand the impact on patient outcomes (e.g. time to talking, time to eating etc.), system efficiency (in terms of bed days saved, ICU bed days usage) as well as efficiency savings to the NHS i.e. return on investment - subject to the agreed methodology and data availability. We are inviting suppliers (academic/clinical) with an established background in evaluation of programmes (preferably at a national level or with experience of large scale evaluations) to conduct this evaluation. Timelines - The evaluation is expected to be conducted over Jan - Mar 2022 (subject to completion of all formalities) however this will be negotiable based on the issuance of the grant, the methodology to be used; time required for all processed, and logistical arrangements. https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome
