Summary of the contracting process

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is currently conducting a procurement process for the "Supported Accommodation for Young People aged 16 and above Framework". This initiative aims to establish a framework of local service providers to deliver supported accommodation for young people who are leaving care or at risk of homelessness, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC). Notice Description

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) wish to commission a framework of primarily local providers to call off beds as and when required, including emergency accommodation but also with the ability to call off block beds at a preferential rate once consistency of demand is established. The aim of the framework is to provide sufficient supported accommodation for Warwickshire's young people 16 and over who are leaving care, at risk of becoming homeless and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and reduce the need for spot purchases of supported accommodation. A Competitive Dialogue process will be used. Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest and download documents. The web address for CSW-JETS is: www.csw-jets.co.uk Registration and use of CSW-JETS is free. All correspondence or clarifications relating to this procurement must be via the CSWJETS correspondence function.
