Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (the Trust) requires ongoing access to Medicode clinical coding software to support its patient administrative system. This software plays a critical role in ensuring accurate clinical coding, which is essential for efficient hospital operations, including billing, resource allocation, and quality of care. A failure of the Medicode system could lead to inaccurate coding, which would significantly increase the risk of errors in these critical processes. This could cause delays in reimbursement, impact funding, and hinder the Trust's ability to effectively manage patient care.
