Notice Title

Video Creation to support the Microbusiness Support Programme.

Notice Description

The Microbusiness Support programme was launched in May 2020 in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. This was a free service aimed at microbusiness owners (with 0-9 employees) providing help and support for those suffering from the impact of coronavirus. The service offered: 121 support - which included telephone consultations with local advisors, for bespoke advice and support on marketing, finance and planning for the future; A website containing advice and resources on a range of topics from financial planning to business owner wellbeing. This website has now been migrated to leeds.gov.uk; Case studies celebrating local 'inspiring indies' showcasing real life examples of small businesses working to adapt to the pandemic, which others could learn and take inspiration from; Online events such as a 'Monday Motivation' catch up and sector specific events where business owners shared their experiences and received help and advice from others. The programme provided support for 126 businesses enabling them to develop and adapt their business and access vital support. As a result of Lockdown #3 small businesses are again in need of help and support to guide them through the next period. The objective of the next Micro Business Support programme is to deliver a more practical round of help, reaching a wider audience. Working in partnership with Leeds City Council to take the programme to the next stage, there is a requirement to create evergreen content which can help support retail and hospitality businesses in the current situation and post-Covid, that are not supported by the ERDF programmes. This content will be aimed at businesses who once again need to further adapt, develop and shore up their online capabilities. A series of films is required to be hosted on an information portal area of leeds.gov.uk. These films will act as a resource for businesses and will help maximise their recovery for when the Tier system is reinstated and life returns to normal. To help businesses recover from the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic To help businesses future-proof their online offer To give businesses the practical tools to deliver basic marketing and social media activity
