***Please NOTE: This tender will close for the receipt of bids on Wednesday 14 March 2018 at 14.00 BST.*** The National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF) is a new national facility for the environmental testing of complete satellites (up to 7 tonnes mass). It is being funded by the UK Government in response to a study commissioned by the UK Space Agency (UKSA) into the status of existing space test facilities in the UK. The Large Space Test Chamber (LSTC) - sitting within the larger National Satellite Test Facility - is to test large satellite/instruments in a cleanroom environment. The facility consists of a Vacuum chamber, Vacuum system, Thermal system, and Control System/automation.
