Notice Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is Wednesday, 15 December 2021 - 11:00 DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. Brief Description of Requirement The overall aim of the exercise is to inform BEIS decision making regarding the Atlantic Constellation. The results of the consultation shall include: * A summary of possible UK use cases for an Atlantic Constellation, including climate science, coastal applications, and oceanography, as well as commercial opportunities to create downstream services; * Analysis of gaps in present data/information sources available to the UK, which an Atlantic Constellation might fill; * A brief analysis and recommended UK response to the current preliminary definition and requirements documents produced by the AIR Association (attached); * Suggested technical innovation opportunities for the UK arising from new instrumentation, algorithms, models, etc.; * A summary of UK industrial and other business opportunities arising through engagement in implementation of the system; and * Considerations of potential interest to BEIS and other UK government departments and agencies, including UKSA, Innovate UK and the Research Councils.
