Notice Description

The requirement is for a heavy duty hot press system. The instrument will support a variety of compressed wood and composite sample preparation, based on wood species, fibre prepregs, sandwich cores and moulds. Because the instrument will have wide applications to manufacture various composite materials and structures it is also highly desirable that large pressure and temperature ranges and large platen areas are available to users. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.Please note the return date for the Tender is 07/02/2017 at 12 noon.
