This project, classified under the health and social services category, focuses on providing vital support to victims of domestic and sexual abuse. The contract was awarded to Victim Support, with a total value of £550,000, covering a period from 1st May 2018 to 30th April 2019. The procurement method used was a limited, negotiated procedure without prior publication, due to the urgency following a failure to award a previously advertised tender.

Companies that are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) would be well-positioned to compete for similar future contracts in this domain. The collaborative nature of this service highlights the importance of partnerships in delivering effective support and may encourage innovation among service providers in the region.
