All tender information must be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal. The National Oceanography Centre is seeking to purchase a Thermostatic Test Chamber. Key Features & Capabilities include: Temperature control (programmable temperature profiles/cycles): YES Temperature logger and display: YES (recording in CSV format (comma separated value) for easy data export/handling) Humidity control: NO Test cavity/internal dimensions: 450-600L (cavity height >= 800 mm, width >= 800 mm, depth >= 700 mm) Temperature range: <= (-10) Celsius - >= (+50) Celsius Temperature fluctuation in time: 0.1 K (at least for the set temperature range of (-5)- (+30) Celsius) Temperature rate of change (heating): >= 2 K/min (no specimen in test cavity) Temperature rate of change (cooling): >= 2 K/min (no specimen in test cavity) Inspection window in test cavity door (condensation-free): YES Lighting inside test cavity: YES Cavity access ports: at least one side port of >=100 mm diameter Shelves inside cavity: one shelf (removable) Power consumption under steady conditions (ambient room temperature 20 Celsius, no specimen) for set temperature of -5C, +10C, +30C: <= 4 kW Noise level: < 65 dB Castor wheels: YES Outer dimensions (castor wheels included): Height <= 2040 mm and either width or depth must be <= 1210 mm (to fit through lab door) Thermal insulation material: free of asbestos, CFC and polyurethane foam Condenser: air-cooled Refrigerant: Eco-friendly refrigerant with GWP of Additional information: DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO BUYER All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts) Responses must be received by the date in the tender documentation; responses received outside of the deadline or not sent via the eSourcing portal will not be accepted or considered further for this opportunity. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: * name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; * name of the registered Bidder; * name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite.
