Wintering bird surveys for the south bank of the Humber Estuary, Lincolnshire

Notice Description

Natural England wishes to commission passage and wintering bird surveys during January 2023 to March 2024, across terrestrial land with a potential to provide supporting habitat for bird species associated with the Humber Estuary Special Protection Area (SPA)/ Ramsar. These surveys will cover the south bank of the Humber Estuary only and be used to inform habitat suitability modelling for golden plover, curlew and lapwing and therefore a methodology has been proposed to systematically sample areas within a 10km radius of the Humber Estuary in Lincolnshire. Please find further information within the project specification.
