22_11_07 NHSE Contraception Service Pharmacy API Development (EOI)
Notice Description
NHSBSA a Special Health Authority Department of Health and Social Care. NHSBSA receives details relating to NHS Advanced and Essential Services outlined in Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) and the Drug Tariff via its Manage Your Service (MYS) portal to reimburse Community Pharmacy Contractors in England. Through this Expression of Interest (EOI), Suppliers are required to confirm whether they can meet the criteria and timescales to deliver the requirements. Please note this EOI will not result in the award of a contract. The objective of the EOI is to understand the market capability to deliver this requirement and it will inform a future procurement activity planned for December 2022 as per the timescales below. The requirement is for suppliers providing software to pharmacies, to provide data feeds to NHSBSA via APIs from their software. Suppliers will be required are required to sign sign-up to facilitate delivery of the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service for those pharmacies that wish to use it. Facilitation will enable the transmission of data from the software to the MYS portal via the Service API and enable receipt into the software of response data from MYS. Suppliers will be paid a fixed fee (PS20,000 ex VAT) for successful development, testing and go-live of APIs when completed in accordance with NHSBSA standards and completion dates. Market Engagement Timescales: -Issue EOI 10/12/22-16/12/22 -Bidder clarifications Deadline: 14/12/22 -Submission of EOI: 12:00 noon 16/12/22 Future Procurement Timescales (subject to EOI outcome) -Issue Tender 20/12/2022 -Deadline for supplier clarification questions 04/01/2023 -Receipt of tenders 07/01/2023 -Contract Award 18/01/2023 Project Timescales: -Contract Commences: 18/01/2023 -Confirmation you have a user interface within your product that enables pharmacy contractors to input the required data that has been demonstrated and deemed satisfactory: 24/2/2023 -Testing Complete: 24/3/2023 -Successful transmission of a live service message via each API: 29/3/2023 -Live Service Payment Window Opens: 01/04/2023 Expression of Interest Response: Suppliers are requested to confirm they: -can deliver the requirements and key (testing and development) milestones within the timescales set out herein; -deliver the requirements against the fixed price of PS20,000 ex VAT -there will be no charges levied to the Pharmacy Contractor -have the following capabilities within their systems: -Access to The Personal Demographics Service (PDS) -Summary Care Record (SCR) 1-click functionality is preferable, but not essential -can enter into a Non-Processor Agreement To access all documentation suppliers must register an interest via https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome reference C118229 (22_11_07 NHSE: Pharmacy Contraception Service API Development - EOI).
