Notice Title
CPH010 Provision and Analysis of Emotional Health and Wellbeing Survey of Young People in Derbyshire
Notice Description
The Council currently commissions an online emotional health and wellbeing survey for young people, which commenced in academic year 2015/2016. This is an anonymous, online survey, providing tracking data of young people's emotional health and wellbeing, identifying trends and supporting identification of areas requiring intervention. To date, 39 of the 45 state funded secondary schools in Derbyshire have participated, and in the 17/18 academic year over 3,700 students completed the survey, from a population of approximately 30,000 students. This current survey ends in academic year 18/19. The Council wishes to engage a specialist research and survey organisation to conduct anonymous surveys with young people (academic years 8 to 11) within Derbyshire (excluding Derby City), for three academic years with the option to extend for two additional 12 month periods commencing academic year 2019/2020. The surveys shall assess the emotional health and wellbeing of young people along with associative risk taking behaviours and will use a predetermined questionnaire with the option to add additional questions where necessary. The surveys shall be accessible to all providers of education for young people in academic years 8 to 11; this includes all schools, alternative provision, and, young people educated at home. The results of the surveys shall be analysed and reports shared with schools, local partnerships, and relevant strategic programmes to show key trends, assist in identifying areas requiring intervention, and inform prevention work across the system. Contract commencement date 01/09/2019 for an initial 3 year period with the option to extend for two 12 month periods.
