Summary of the contracting process

The public procurement process involves a framework agreement established by Thirteen Housing Group Ltd for the provision of recruitment services, located in Co Durham, North East England. The procurement method is open, allowing multiple submissions across different lots, with a total value of £8 million over the contract period from 22 June 2020 to 6 June 2022. The initial tender period ended on 18 May 2020, and suppliers selected will work collaboratively with Thirteen, utilising their applicant tracking system, Jobtrain.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for recruitment agencies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), given the potential to secure a position as one of the suppliers on the framework. With up to 20 suppliers appointed, agencies with expertise in both temporary and permanent recruitment could find this a beneficial avenue, while those capable of aligning their processes with Thirteen’s requirements may enhance their competitive edge in serving local organisations within the housing sector.
