Notice Description

As part of a project funded by a Heritage Lottery Fund Resilient Heritage grant, the English Heritage Trust (EHT), on behalf of a consortium of interests, wish to commission a consultant to assist the partners in developing a governance structure and a business model options appraisal for Berwick Barracks. This piece of work is seeking to address 3 key themes: 1. Establishing a partnership-based governance model that works for all partners who will be responsible for implementing the project, safeguarding our individual charitable purposes whilst encouraging creative and forward-thinking collaboration. This will include development of a robust framework for decision-making and accountability, and recommendations for building a wider network of partners, collaborators and supporters. 2. Developing a business model options appraisal for Berwick Barracks, identifying and quantifying the potential user markets and associated income generating potential of each option. 3. Refining and strengthening the long-term vision and aims for the site, taking into account work already done in this regard, and placing it within the local, regional and national context.
