Notice Description

Bristol City Council are seeking expressions of interest from providers who have been awarded on to the Provision of Clinical and Healthcare Staffing (RM6161) framework who would be interested providing agency staff for support and supervision for children and young people that includes the following: * 1:1 or 2:1 support both during the day and out of hours * Sleep in and waking night support * Booking temporary accommodation with support staff for young people * Providing in-depth detailed daily/weekly reports on the young person that can be sent over to social workers / social services and any multi agencies that are involved * Support children and young people transitioning into new homes * Support with day to day living including; education, appointments with support services and health services, budgeting, cooking and employment opportunities The outreach support for children in young people would be in various settings such as; * Fostering support. * Emergency crisis support ( Crisis cover)- temporary placement or placement breakdown via Placements Team or EDT. * Interim last minute wrap around support for young people in crisis * Bedside support for young people within hospitals/Families * Short Term Unregulated Emergency Accommodation 16+ young people * Care Leavers, Youth Offending. * Children Leaving Secure Units going into independent living support * Fostering and adoption breakdowns * DOLS Emergency Day and Night Support for emergency placements * Be-spoke packages - Such as support in holiday lets, caravans and flats on 1-1, or 2-1 ratio. (regulated and unregulated) * YP leaving a secure unit and needing a support package to transition. * CAMHS - links with social services in order to help foster families with extra support when having issues with troubled children in care - providing extra support within own homes in order to help the foster parents Staff need to be fully trained; DBS checked and have 3 years referencing. Staff ideally need to be level 3 qualified or working towards their qualification in children and young people (level 3). Staff need to be able to produce in-depth detailed reports on the young person This advert has been issued in order to seek expressions of interest from suppliers that are already awarded on the Provision of Clinical and Healthcare Staffing (RM6161) framework.
