Notice Description

Devon County Council currently commission Children Centre Services. The contract for these services will end on 31st March 2024. Devon County Council Childrens Services would like to make opportunities for pre-market engagement activity with providers available to help us to inform the design of future services to replace the above. Going forward Devon County Council are exploring the option of a strategic partnership approach which will include working in partnership with an external organisation or number of external organisations to support in the development of a family hub model in Devon, to deliver and in some cases support and co-ordinate the development of services which will be designed and commissioned to - - Be delivered as part of and to support Devons Early Help offer for children, young people and families. - Support the local authority in meeting its duties to improve the wellbeing of children, reduce inequalities for children and promote the safety and welfare of children and young people. - Provide support and intervention to benefit babies, children, young people, parents and or carers, and prospective parents and carers. Especially those experiencing multiple vulnerablities and supporting in ways which are restorative and build on strengths they have. - Support the development of babies, children and young people, as early as possible, working alongside other partners and professionals. - Build networks, communication and collaborative working with a range of partners and professionals. This will be an integral part of service delivery. - Offer a range of services to meet presenting needs supporting parents and communities. Additional information: Devon County Council are making available a series of 30-minute sessions for providers to engage and discuss further with Commissioners our Family Hubs and Support Services opportunity. All interested providers are invited to sign up to attend one of these sessions. Sessions will be available on the 18th of July and 20th July 2023 and will be hosted virtually via Microsoft Teams. The aim of the sessions are to provide opportunities to:- 1) Discuss the Family Hubs and Support Services opportunity with Commissioners, including questions or queries you may have. 2) Share with us more about your organisation and your experiences and/ or learning of Family Hub models. Please note a record of all questions and answers will be compiled and shared through the portal for information.
