Notice Title

CS5273- Young Peoples Assessment and Support Services

Notice Description

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is seeking an innovative bid which will ensure the successful provision and management of an accommodation based Young People's Assessment and Support Service. In addition to being committed to preventing and reducing youth homelessness, the service should serve as a critical access point on the path to adulthood for vulnerable young people in the LBTH. By conducting a thorough assessment, delivering individually-tailored support, and working in collaboration with other LBTH services, the Assessment and Support Service should ensure young people take a suitable and safe next step in their lives. The service is aimed at, although not restricted to, young people aged between 16 and 21 who are unknown to the care system, and who are at risk of homelessness. The successful bidder must be able to provide a building within the LBTH to deliver the Assessment and Support Service for a minimum of 10 supported units and 2 crash pads facilities for emergency accommodation. The successful bidder is expected to work collaboratively with The LBTH Children's Commissioning Team, supported housing providers, the LBTH referral agent (The Housing Options and Support Team - HOST) and other relevant LBTH teams to ensure the needs of service users are suitably assessed and a clear individual accommodation pathway is established. A supplier briefing will take place on Friday 17th November 2017 at 2:00 pm and is expected to last approximately one hour. Location: Room AJH104 1st Floor Albert Jacobs House 62 Roman Road London E2 0PG Please contact Charles.Carter@towerhamlets.gov.uk for further information and to register for the event.
