Notice Title

Awarded Contract - Subscription to Capital IQ Pro & After-Market Research

Notice Description

Corporate Finance Advisory took out a subscription to S&Ps's Capital IQ Pro software in 2022 to be able to look at company and sector level financial data. It has now been renewed. Areas where we have been using the data and functionality include: - Analysis and commentary on transactions/M&A - Monitoring companies in distress - Analysis of companies procuring from DfT and ALBs - Ownership analysis - Stock market analysis such as comparing performance of the transport sector to the wider market - Assisting commercial teams with bespoke financial assessments Some of the above is possible to perform using solely publicly available tools and data sources - e.g. company annual reports, investor relations websites and Google/Yahoo Finance. However, the lack of embedded automation makes each task very time consuming. The tool is primarily a web interface that works on an individual user account with unlimited number of users under a master licence agreement.
