They are a community Infant and Nursery School for children between two and seven years old and have a Nursery for 52 part-time children; but can offer 13 of these as full time places. They are a three form entry school but currently have two classes of entry from reception.They are a School with many environmentally aware features including rainwater harvesting, solar panels, wildlife areas, and recycling schemes.Their School Is A Special Place To Learn Because:1. They are a safe and happy School;2. Every child's contribution is listened to, respected and valued;3. Each child is encouraged to do their very best;4. They provide a stimulating and creative curriculum for everyone;5. Their new School building is fully accessible to people with physical disabilities;6. There is excellent behaviour, with clear rules that treat everyone fairly;7. They are a kind, hard-working staff;8. They have a supportive community.The Junior SchoolQueenswell Junior School is a community school for children aged 7 to 11. Queenswell is a dynamic school, committed to providing a rich education that interests, enthuses and rewards each child. They have high expectations for every child and are dedicated to meeting each child's individual needs by developing their curiosity and confidence to learn - both now and in their future.Learning at Queenswell is an exciting and challenging experience for each child.
