Notice Description

The aim of this procurement is to identify an academic partner to provide an evidence base to support Health Education England's (HEE) Quality Strategy and Quality Framework, and to provide the necessary validation for HEE National Education and Training Survey (NETs). The brief, which is part of the tender pack, describes HEE's specification for the contract. The evaluation will assist HEE to ensure that the education and training it commissions and provides will lead to improved patient and learner outcomes. The evaluation must include quality and value for money assessments of current and credible evidence towards improving patient and learner outcomes. Work needs to start as soon as possible, after contract award, to ensure that the evidence base can inform the further development and refinement of the HEE Quality Strategy and Quality Framework. The aim is to drive continual improvements in education and training in order to ensure improvements in patient and learner experience and outcomes. This procurement will be a significant programme of research planned to move our understanding and measurement of quality in education and training towards a more outcome and evidence based approach. To demonstrate how our leadership and investment activities for quality deliver direct improvements in the experience and outcomes for patients, and ostensibly, to the transformation of the workforce aligned to the ambitions of the Five Year Forward View.
