NHS Barnsley CCG : Mental Health Support Teams - Market Engagement Event
Notice Description
Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) In developing Mental Health Support Teams, NHS Barnsley CCG is seeking to offer a single contract to an organisation(s) that will ensure the children and young people within the borough are able to access appropriate, timely support for their emotional health and wellbeing to further improve their life outcomes. The tender process will take place in November 2020. In preparation we will be holding an open market engagement event to share more details about our plans, hear your views, answer queries and would like you to engage with our provider partners. Details of the agenda will be confirmed nearer the time. The meeting will take place on Monday 26 October 2020, between 2pm and 4pm, on Microsoft Teams. In order to register your interest in this event, please go to www.nhssourcing.co.uk If you have not accessed the portal before you will need to register by clicking on "Register Here". Once you have logged into the website, click on the link "PQQ's Open to All Suppliers" in the Supplier Area box. This engagement event will be listed here. Click on the title and then on the green button "Express Interest". This enables you to download any attachments, and to send and receive messages with the NHS South Yorkshire Procurement Service. To register your interest, please send a message through the site, naming up to 2 delegates. We have provided a draft specification (due to be signed off prior to the tender process commencing) which covers the provision of three MHST's, two focusing on primary school-aged children (one of these being a Trailblazer team as per the Green Paper published in December 2017) and the third team being a well-established team known as MindSpace, which focuses on supporting the pupils within the 10 Secondary Schools within the borough. As MindSpace is a well-established service we would like you to engage with our provider partner who currently delivers the service for high school children at the event: - MindSpace, Wellspring Academy Trust, Digital Media Centre, County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW The Contract will be for a term of three years with the opportunity to extend for two years subject to mutual agreement between the successful Bidder and the Authority. The maximum term of Contract is consequently five years. The financial envelope for the MHST will be included in the final specification. Finance for year one is PS878,899, years two and three will be confirmed at the event. Additional information: The purpose of this Notice/PIN is to identify any organisations interested in providing this Service to engage with NHS Barnsley CCG. The CCG would like potential providers to express an interest by responding via the portal. The CCG are not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in this Notice/PIN or, for any future tendering activity. Please register your interest through the NHS Sourcing portal by the deadline of noon on the 23rd October 2020. The information you provide to NHS Barnsley CCG will be to assess interest in the market. Dependent upon the response to this Notice/PIN the authority will determine if this requirement will form the basis of a competitive procurement process. If a competitive procurement is to take place the authority will inform those organisations who have registered an interest as described above with more information. The information to be provided by BCCG will include, but not be limited to the type of procurement process, the timescales, and the evaluation criteria for any future procurement process.
