Summary of the contracting process

The Epsom & Ewell Borough Council is inviting tenders for a Pest Control Tender, which falls under the Environmental Services category. The procurement is currently active and follows an open procedure, with the tender period set to close on 1st July 2016. The contract is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2016 and will run until 31st July 2018, with the possibility of extension. The expected contract value is £20,000, and the council is looking for contractors who can manage pest control services in the Epsom area, specifically for domestic properties, with a minimum bid of £5,000.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in environmental services, particularly those focused on pest control. Suitable competitors include small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with experience in handling pest management for residential settings. With the requirement for effective services against common pests such as rodents and insects, businesses with a proven track record in similar contracts would be well-positioned to take advantage of this opportunity for growth and community service in Epsom and Ewell.
