Notice Description

NHS England, North (Cheshire and Merseyside) commissioning team are hosting a second market engagement event to discuss the procurement of orthodontics across Cheshire and Merseyside. The purpose of the event is to support any potential bidders with understanding the procurement process. Additional information: This facilitated event will primarily focus on, but not limited to: the Oral Health Needs Assessment for orthodontics; Outline of Service Specification; Proposed Groups/Lots for procurement; Explaining the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS); Application support; NHS England is committed to improving services and has an opportunity to improve, re-develop and re-commission the current orthodontics pathways. GDPs, specialist orthodontists and secondary care dental service providers are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the discussions, and help inform the future strategy. The event will be held on Monday 29th January 2018 at Park Royal Hotel, Stretton Road, Stretton, Cheshire, WA4 4NS, from 16:30 - 18:30. To register your interest in attending the Market Engagement Event please ensure that you register on the eTendering system Proactis https://www.proactisplaza.com/SupplierPortal/?CID=NECS. If your organisation would like to attend the market engagement event, please note only two attendees per organisation will be accepted. Please send a correspondence via the Proactis portal with the following details for each attendee: Name Job Title Contact details The deadline for registering to attend the event is 12 noon on Wednesday 24th January 2018. Please note that registering prior to the event is required. NB. None registered attendees will not be permitted on the evening. North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this market engagement and communicate with organisations who have expressed an interest.
