Notice Title
Step-down, Interim and Respite Beds in Peterborough - Soft Market Testing
Notice Description
Step down, Interim and Respite Beds in Peterborough - Soft Market Testing Peterborough City Council (PCC) are seeking additional capacity from the provider market for step down, interim and respite beds from 1 October 2018 for a period up to 6 months. Both national and local providers are encouraged to respond; all beds need to be located within the Peterborough geographic boundary. The exact numbers of beds being sought is reliant on funding streams being secured by PCC. It is anticipated that all the beds will be contracted via a mixture of spot purchase and block purchase. Charging proposals should not exceed current provider contractual rates, unless there is a additional level of reablement, care and support or additional factors that can warrant a increase. Providers will also be encouraged to identify innovative processes and solutions, that could enable clients to return home sooner. Prior to a formal tender exercise PCC are keen to meet with all interested parties that have additional bed capacity to better understand the following three questions: 1. How many beds, of which type, do you anticipate being available for the period identified above? 2. Do you offer innovative solutions to enable clients to return home sooner? 3. Do you have the flexibility to increase and decrease bed availability dependant on winter pressures demand? If you are willing to participate in this Market Facilitation Exercise, please provide your contact details by 17:00 Thursday 26th July 2018. Tony Sanderson, Lead Commissioner - Early Intervention and Prevention (Interim) will then contact you to discuss further.
