NHS Scarborough & Ryedale CCG - Community Services - MCP Model
Notice Description
NHS Scarborough & Ryedale CCG is looking to commission a multi-speciality community provider modelfor the delivery of a range of community based health and care services for its registered population. WhilstNorth Yorkshire County Council as a Commissioner of Services is not proposing to commission any social careservices through this route at the outset it is fully committed to supporting the integrated care agenda and may,at the sole discretion of the Council, transfer a number of social care services and budget lines and functions tothe chosen service provider during the life of the contract subject to Council approval and in accordance with theprocess set out in any resulting MCP contract.NHS England will be a co-commissioner in respect of any primarymedical services delivered through this contractual route. It is anticipated that the provider will deliver some core services on from day 1 with the potential for additionalservices to be delivered from later points.
