Notice Description
Sheffield Children's Hospital are seeking a supplier to supply a Biomechanics Lab for GAIT Analysis. The equipment must consist of the following: Equipment purposes: * Analysis and rehabilitation of the following: o Gait o Balance o Dual tasking o Motor control and learning o Perturbation Capability/components: * Visual and auditory feedback. * A split belt instrumented treadmill for analysis over multiple consecutive steps to assess fatigue, variability and effect of speed. * A high speed treadmill for the analysis of elite athletes. * Simulated slips and moderation of limb asymmetries. * A perturbation platform for balance/response analysis. * Immersive virtual reality environment to test individual capabilities in real world settings. * Harness to ensure safety.
