Notice Description

The Council currently has multiple contracts to deliver Public Health services.The Council is now seeking an innovative alternative solution using an outcomes based approach to deliver a coherent offer for local people and wants to explore integrated ways of really delivering services differently, putting Public Health and Community Prevention and Support Services at the heart of Hillingdon.The Council wants to develop community resilience and self management supported by a truly joined up approach to earlier identification of need. We are looking to understand how integration of service delivery will maximise capacity, extend community reach and take a co-ordinated approach to community assets.The Council is looking for a provider or providers that can truly innovate and align all the services in scope around the individual, improving the quality of life for all residents with meaningful outcomes.The services will enhance residents' health and well-being, and will likely include the following programmes: a health child programme (0-19); smoking cessation service; substance misuse service; integrated sexual and reproductive health services; lifestyle weight management; children's integrated therapies; and multi agency psychological service. These services are not exclusive.The CPV codes provided are an indication and not an exhaustive list. The Council is interested in understanding synergies across a wider range of child, family and community services, and is keen to see evidence of potential providers' track records of successful delivery models.Interested service providers should contact Sarah Read-O'Toole to express an interest, email address srotoole@hillingdon.gov.uk in participating in the market engagement exercise.The market engagement exercise will adopt the following procedure, which it is aimed to conclude approximately 6 weeks after the 1st July 2020. Service providers will return a written response to the engagement questionnaire and will prepare for an engagement meeting on the basis of their response. The Council will hold individual engagement meetings with interested service providers either by video/tele-conference, or by face to face (this will depend largely on the circumstances in light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis).The market engagement sessions will be co-ordinated by the LBH contact given here, only.If you participate in this market engagement you will not be given any advantage over other potential providers who express an interest. LBH wants to ensure that the market engagement does not compromise or prejudice fair and open competition between potential providers in any future competition.
