Notice Description

Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to Diversity and Ability. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. Heath Education England [HEE] believe that Diversity and Ability is the only organisation capable meeting the specific requirements for undertaking Action Research Improving Transition of Medic-Learners to the Workplace. HEE believes that it is highly unlikely for any other supplier to be able to provide the following skills/tools provided by Diversity & Ability (D&A) as a current supplier for the following reasons: It is the only supplier in the education and statutory interface space. It has access to a workforce with lived experience of disability. 85% of the team at D&A self-identify as disabled or neuro diverse. These groups are key stakeholder networks for this programme of work able to advise and support action research. D&A already work with a range of organisations representing and/or supporting the needs of disabled people in the UK. These include well known organisations such as Disability Rights UK and Brain in Hand technology organisation. D&A's partners mean that D&A have access to insights that may not be replicable across other suppliers.
