Notice Title
Provision of Taxi Services to Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
Notice Description
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is a Community and Mental Health Trust serving the population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR). LPT has a requirement for the use of taxis on a private hire basis to transport people (including staff and patients) and small consignments of goods between various locations within LLR. It is imperative that LPT has arrangements in place for taxi services that are safe and cost effective. To support this objective, LPT intends to run a tender process to source and award contracts for the provision of taxi services to a provider or providers who can support the Trust to provide a high-quality service at competitive prices. LPT intends to launch the tender process in Summer 2023. As part of developing our requirements and tender process we would like to conduct some market engagement with taxi companies within the region. The purpose of the market engagement will be to speak with taxi companies to better understand the market in the region, learn about any services or technology that we could take advantage of and share our aims and objectives and gain feedback on our requirements. We are anticipating arranging the following sessions: * LPT presentation of our requirements, aim and objectives. To be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams, likely on Mon 15th May. * Face-to-face meetings with interested suppliers to ask more specific questions and gain feedback on our specification. Likely to take place w/c 22nd May at a location in Leicester If you would like to participate please confirm your interest by contacting the buyer via email using the details on this notice. When responding please confirm: * Your company name * Name of the person(s) who would like to attend the sessions (max 2 people) * Contact email and phone number Please submit your interest no later than 5pm, Weds 10th May.
