We are seeking to commission research to: 1) Inform the development of an integrated model of UK connectivity. This research will inform the inputs/assumptions for this model. The model aims: - to identify the potential to use different technologies to meet connectivity requirements across the UK, - assess trade offs as well as costs and benefits across different potential policy interventions 2) Understand better the wireless technologies and future developments that can support convergence between fixed and mobile networks. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
