Summary of the contracting process

The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) is currently seeking to establish non-exclusive framework agreements for professional services through an open procurement process for its Professional Services Panel. This tender focuses on the architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services industry and is specifically targeting works in London, UK. The procurement is at the tender stage, with submissions due by 5th August 2019. The contract period is set to commence on 1st September 2019 and will last until 31st August 2022. The V&A anticipates managing capital projects and temporary exhibitions valued at approximately £35 million over the next three years, with individual project values ranging from £250,000 to £10 million.

This framework presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in project management, quantity surveying, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical services, and lighting design. Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to apply, given the tender's focus on inclusivity. The V&A's ongoing projects, including their 'FuturePlan' initiative, will benefit from the successful bidders' services, making this an ideal opportunity for businesses aiming to expand their portfolios in public sector projects within the arts and culture sector.
