Notice Description
Provision of main contractor to be appointed carry out the upgrade of fire compartmentation and fire doors across NHS Property Services existing portfolio. NHS Property Services (NHS PS) is a limited company set up on 1 April 2013 and wholly owned by the Secretary of State for Health. We manage, maintain, and improve over 3,000 properties, working in partnership with NHS organizations to create safe, efficient, sustainable, and modern healthcare and working environments. This accounts for some 10 per cent of the NHS estate in England. Most of these buildings are used to provide patient care, such as GP surgeries and community hospitals. They do not have responsibility for hospital estates run by NHS Trusts and NHS Foundation Trusts. NHS Property Services has two main roles: Strategic estates management - acting as a landlord, modernizing facilities, buying new facilities and selling facilities the NHS no longer needs. Dedicated provider of support services such as cleaning and catering. We are a national company with a regional structure. NHS Property Services Ltd is divided into 7 Regions: London, South East, South West, East, Midlands, North West, North East and Yorkshire. July 2022 - July 2025 FTS Restricted Route.
