Data Collection on attitudes towards the death penalty in Kenya
Notice Description
Our project aims to restrict the use of the death penalty leading to abolition in Kenya. We have three specific objectives and the tender relates to the third: 1. To provide legal assistance and support to criminal defence/human rights lawyers representing those facing capital charges or sentenced to death; 2. To inform, equip and train legal and medical professionals involved in capital cases; and 3. To mobilise a campaign informed by empirical research. This is a collaborative project between The Death Penalty Project (UK), The Katiba Institute, Kenya National Human Rights Commission, and the University Of Reading (UK).
