Notice Description

Manchester City Council is looking to utilise the TPS 2021 framework to commission a City Centre Pedestrian Network Study. The work will include an audit of the city centre pedestrian network (streets, pavements and squares) in order to identify small scale (construction costs of up to approximately PS500k) priority interventions to improve such aspects as walking connections between key attractions, reduce street clutter, improve crossings and junctions, ensure the areas are safe and attractive to pedestrians both during the day and at night. The work will build on, and look to deliver, the ambitions for walking set out in the City Centre Transport Strategy to 2040 Additional information: The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk. Applicants will need to electronically submit their completed tender documents, including online questionnaire, via the on-line portal by 11am on 2nd September 2022
