Notice Description

This procurement is being carried out in order to establish a single supplier Framework Agreement for the auction sale of a variety of vehicles, plant and machinery from Leeds City Council (also referred to throughout this specification as 'the Council'), Wakefield Council and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The Framework Agreement is available to Leeds City Council, Wakefield Council, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and may also be utilised by other local authorities across the Yorkshire and Humberside region. The Council is seeking an Auctioneer (the Contractor) that can sell the full range of the Council's fleet assets (plant, trailers, grounds maintenance equipment, all vehicles types etc). When assets are ready for auction, the Council will contact the Contractor providing details of the asset and place an order. Once the order is accepted the Contractor will be required to make suitable arrangements within 48 hours for the collection of the assets to take to auction. The Contractor must then seek to identify the most appropriate sale day and work to attain the best possible price for the assets.
