Notice Description
In an attractive modern building the Dock Museum cares for and displays the heritage of Barrow-in-Furness. Built over a historic Grade II listed dry dock The Dock Museum showcases Barrow's social, industrial and shipbuilding history. Barrow Borough Council manages the Dock Museum. Barrow Borough Council wishes to contract with a company who will build a research room. The new facility will be housed within the existing Museum at ground floor level.
